Well I just got back from a week on the island of San Pedro, part of the northern Cayes off the coast of Belize. While filled to the brim with seafood, I managed to stuff my face plenty without cheating and was able to withstand a week of eating out literally every meal until the night before last when it finally got to me. I'm back in Guatemala now, recovering, then on to Wendy's house tomorrow for Christmas dinner. Attached are some of the highlights from the trip.
, including the sharks I had the pleasure of swimming with near the Hol Chan Marine reserve. Aside from snorkelling, the week involved a whole lot of nothing, just lounging around on the beach and wandering around the island listening to a mix of Spanish, Creole and English I was almost able to understand.xoxo
